Fall Appearance and A Real Ghost!

Word On The Street is a fabulous fall festival celebrated in many cities and towns. It’s an opportunity for readers and writers to come together to celebrate the joys of the written word. I’m pleased to announce I’ll be participating this year in Toronto on September 22 in a panel discussion on the horror genre with fellow authors Adrienne Kress and Joel A. Sutherland in the Scholastic booth.

(Note: The Doll’s Eye will be featured in this fall’s Scholastic Book Fairs and flyer in case you’re looking for a creepy Halloween read and a few chills…)

The new paperback cover!

And now for a sneak peek at the site that inspired the setting for my new manuscript! I won’t say too much about it or the story just yet…but do stay tuned.

Isn’t it majestic?

While I was taking these eerie photos of this incredible building, I’m absolutely certain I caught a REAL GHOST! Zoom in on the bottom of the window and tell me what you think.

If you knew this building’s history, you would have no doubt. Was this entity trying to tell me something…or scare me away? I’ll let you decide…

The clock features prominently in my story!

Hope to see you at Word on the Street, Sunday, September 22nd!
